466 - Analysis of roller bearings vibration during nondestructive testing on gearbox
Docekal A.
Abstract
This paper describes a case of multidimensional vibroacoustic testing of a gearbox. Especially conditions of each roller bearing in the gearbox were analyzed and monitored. Because of testing whole gearbox, a signal containing vibration of one roller bearing could not be simple accessed. There was used methods of blind source separation to part sources from the input data mixture and to obtain each roller bearing vibration separately. A vibration signal of a roller bearing could be described by its amplitude features (e.g. root mean square). The main aim of this testing of the gearbox was monitoring of vibration generated by each roller bearing in various operating conditions as various load conditions and various revolution rates.
