302 - A study on the vibration characteristics of circular ring with multiple local mass and stiffness deviations

Abstract
We suggest new method to acquire natural freq. and mode shape of the circular ring with local mass and stiffness deviation using Rayleigh Ritz method and heavy side step function. This method make difference campared to conventional method in considering local stiffness deviation directly not a equivalent spring concept. This method was applied to vibration and acoustic control of Korean bell.
