225 - Local peek frequencies and their damping factors for vibro-acoustic transmission in a Japanese-style house

Abstract
Hitting on a floor by an impact hammer, the vibration and the acoustic waves are generated. The transfer function of the vibro-acoustic transmission is estimated by the cross-spectrum method. Local peek frequencies in the amplitude frequency characteristics are found. The aims of this study are to estimate the frequencies and their damping constants with high accuracy. This paper describes the estimation method by use of the autoregressive model for the impulse response that is calculated from the transfer function. And, the estimated results that are calculated from the poles of the model will be shown.
