817 - Optimization of structure of a material of the cutting tool at vibration
Archipov I., Vasin S., Silakov M.
Abstract
An analysis of stressed and strained condition of a case of a turning cutter is carried out at high-speed turning with the high level of vibration. The case is manufactured from a porous material with a high level of vibration damping. The mathematical model which is taking into account microplasticity, damping, and also structural distribution of pores in a material is offered. Proceeding from normative restrictions on allowable deformations of a cutter a plan of computing of optimal porosity which provides maximal vibration damping under conditions of the operating cutting tool is suggested.
