587 - The applying research on vibration and acceleration test using fiber optic sensors displacement measurement technique

Abstract
Displacement measurement is very important in the industry manufacture and weapon environment test. For example, when the object is accelerated, the distortion often be measured to evaluate the antipressure ability. Therefore displacement measurement may reflect the structure function of object, providing scientific basis for designer. In order to measure displacement more precisely and satisfy the test condition more perfectly, a new mask intensity modulation type of displacement measurement system using fiber optic sensor is designed , avoiding using expensive optical system and reducing the complexity in debugging, as well as linearity is good and anti-interference is strong . It is composed of three parts, which are the fiber optic sensor whose structure is compact and reliable, the circuit of displacement measurement and computer. By the appropriative software, it can measure the displacement and display it in real time. This paper in brief introduces its operation principles and circuit design; meanwhile it can be applied in the acceleration test verified by calibration.
