Abstract
At present there is an increasing interest to using acoustic fields in technologies of different industries (Metallurgy, Chemical, Food-processing, Oil-producing, etc.). Unlike the ultrasound, which has been applied for a long time, using the sonic-range acoustics fields began quite recently. It was connected with: a) obtaining the results of the researches on the influence of sound-range acoustics fields on different substances, technological processes and b) development of relatively simple and efficient gas-jet sonic generator (GSG). For a number of years the authors of this work have been researching GSG and creating new science-intensive technologies on its basis. The technologies and technological equipment for applying aerothermoacoustic processing have been developed. The technological process includes heating of metal and its cooling in the powerful acoustic field, generated by GSG. The conducted researches have shown, that applying of different physical fields (temperature, acoustic, gas-dynamic) are resulted in changing the structure of metal and its mechanical properties (strength, flexibility, etc). For example, durability of the devices increases several times, their cold-resistance, corrosion-stability and heat resistance also increase. Such processing has been applied to construction and instrumental steel, hard alloys, non-ferrous alloys, cast-iron. A few patents have been received. Aeroacoustic Processes of Pseudo-Liquation and Pneumatic Transporting of Loose Materials. The technologies and technological equipment for obtaining pseudo-liquation media with the help of GSG have been developed. The conducted researches have proved a high efficiency of applying GSG as a gas-intake block. The field of standing waves, created by GSG in a technological zone allows to raise all the mass of the loose material, having provided interaction of gas with every particle and significant decreasing of gas consumption and deliver pressure. A few patents have been received.
