131 - Optimization of a special purpose trailer for the close proximity method according ISO/CD 11819-2

Abstract
More and more, the Close Proximity method (ISO/CD 11819-2)is applied to measure noise reductions of silent roads. In order to be compatible to other excisting trailers a special hybrid trailer has been developed. This trailer meets the requirements of the Standard and -due to its variable geometry- also compares to other trailers. A major measurement programme has been performed in order to verify the measurement data. Also, these data have been linked to data from SPB-measurements.
