When entering a new paper proposal, authors will be asked to enter the information requested in the Paper Cover Sheet. Upon electronically submitting the information, a paper number and password will be assigned. It is very important to write down this information, since it will be needed for all further processing. If authors make a mistake, if they want to update their cover sheet information, or if they want to double-check their entry, they can use the Update Existing Paper Proposal option. After successfully completing the electronic submission process, the contact author will receive an ASCII copy of the Electronic Cover Sheet by e-mail. Even if the paper proposal is submitted electronically, authors are still required to mail 6 (six) hardcopies of their Cover Sheet as well as the camera-ready paper and the copyright form. These copies are needed for the review process. Authors can generate a formatted version of their Paper Cover Sheet that can be printed through the browser after submitting or updating the Cover Sheet information. Only if the Paper Cover Sheet cannot be completed via the web successfully, follow the Floppy Disk Preparation Instructions to prepare a floppy disk with that information. Authors who successfully complete the electronic submission of the Paper Cover Sheet do not need to generate the floppy disk.
