Curriculum:
Tanja Schultz received the German "Staatsexamen" in mathematics
and physical education from the University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg,
Germany, in 1989, the Dipl. and PhD degrees in computer science
from the University of Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1995 and
2000, respectively. In 2000, she joined the Carnegie Mellon University,
Pittsburgh, PA, as a Research Associate.
Her research activities are in the field of language independent and
language adaptive speech recognition, large vocabulary continuous
speech recognition systems in many languages, and human-machine
interfaces, as well as spontaneous and conversational speech.
